If you’re between the ages of 9 and 18, and you’ve got two years of individual instrument lessons in drums, bass, guitar, keys or vocals under your belt, we reckon you’re ready to take the next step and say, I’M WITH THE BAND.
We know it can be hard to find others to jam with but look no further, cos under the roof of 311 Manukau Road, you’ll find everything you need. There are others just like you, learning songs on different instruments, and we want to get you together to jam!
Plus, we will organise an end-of-term performance for your band. Live performance is something that all bands do, it’s the payoff for all the hard work they have done in the practice room, and it’s their chance to shine.
You really can’t put into words the feeling you get from a live performance with others, there’s nothing quite like it, and we want you to see for yourself.

What: x8 one hour sessions with an experienced live band tutor. You will work on suggested and selected songs where you will work towards a live performance at our end of term concert. This is open to the public; you don’t have to be doing lessons at Chiron Rock School to participate. Come one come all!
Requirements: Ages 9-18, 2 years of instruments lessons
We do recommend taking individual lessons with us at the same time to help you sound the best you can!

Another Keys player who is 9-12 years old to join our Thursdays 4:30pm band.
